On January 6, 2014, Shinfujin took a stand for the New Year by staging a publicity drive at the nearby station (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo).  The drive included a campaign to collect signatures asking for the abolition of secrecy laws, the opposition to the pacifist Constitution revision, and the abolition of nuclear weapons.
